Cathy Guevara, is currently an Associate Professor with the Universidad Técnica del Norte in Ecuador. She is a doctor (Ph.D) in Computer Engineering from the University of Seville. Her current research interests include requirements engineering, verification and validation of software, empirical software engineering and business process modelling in software engineering. She is member of IEEE Computer Society and IEEE WIE Affinity Group. She is founding member of Network Science Research Group (eCIER) and member of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Research Group (GISIA). She also serves regularly as a reviewer for international journals and conferences.
