Dr. Rashi Agarwal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU), Kanpur. With over 16 years of academic and research experience, she specializes in computer vision, artificial intelligence, and their interdisciplinary applications in healthcare, agriculture, and education. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on medical image analysis and has authored more than 50 research publications in reputed journals and international conferences.
Her research contributions include AI-driven solutions for neonatal health monitoring, plant disease detection, facial expression recognition, and environmental data analysis. Dr. Agarwal is the founder of the Young Researcher initiative, which empowers school students through mentorship in scientific thinking, research methodology, and hands-on experimentation. Passionate about expanding access to STEM education, she regularly organizes workshops, innovation camps, and training programs on AI, IoT, and coding for school students and educators.
