I am a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon in Human Computer Interaction. My research explores how to use visualization and analysis recommendation to make data work more approachable to both data scientists and domain experts by learning from past interactions and analyses to provide intelligent data analysis tools. This involves building stand-alone systems for data analysis, building extensions to existing tools like Jupyter, and running human studies experiments to evaluate these systems
