June Sallou is an Assistant Professor in the Information Technology group at Wageningen University & research. Previously, she was a Postdoc Researcher in the Software Engineering Research Group at Delft University of Technology. Her research focuses on sustainable software engineering, Green AI, and scientific modelling. In particular, she is interested in applying approximate computing approaches to foster greener AI-based software development and usage. She advocates for using green software practices alongside more conventional practices that emphasise technical sustainability to achieve greater sustainable software production.
