Alberto Núñez was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1980. He received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Spain, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Software Systems and Computation Department, Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. He has published more than 40 research papers in journals, books, and national and international conferences. His research interests include formal testing, performance analysis, high performance computing, and modelling of cloud systems, especially on how to perform models and simulations. He received the IBM Ph.D. Fellowship Award, in 2009. He regularly serves on the Program Committee of conferences, such as IWANN, MeT and ICCCI.
