Nasir Mehmood Minhas works in software processes, requirement engineering, and testing. Besides the software engineering research areas, he also works on allied topics, including software engineering education, research ethics, the teaching of research methods, project management, and sentiment analysis. Most of his work is on empirical research focusing on appraising and improving software engineering practice. He has been involved in an industry-academia collaboration project, EASE (The Industrial Excellence Centre for Embedded Applications Software Engineering). He has also worked with ELLIIT - a strategic research environment funded by the Swedish government, to support vital research in information technology and mobile communications. He is working on the optimization of regression testing in embedded system development. His most recent venture is to support testing practitioners in improving their regression testing process.
