Bio:

Carrie Cai is a Research Scientist and Manager at Google in the People and AI Research (PAIR) group. She and Michael Terry have been long-time collaborators in PAIR, with a focus on human-AI interaction. Her work has received 7 paper awards/recognitions and was profiled in the MIT Technology Review and TechCrunch. Carrie holds a PhD in Computer Science at MIT, and a MA/BA in Education and Human Biology at Stanford. Coming from an interdisciplinary background, she believes that the best AI innovations arise from a deep understanding of both machine learning technologies and human behavior.
