I earned a bachelor’s degree in teaching computing from Saudi Arabia in 2011. At Newcastle University, UK, I completed a master’s degree in computer science in 2019-2020 and Human-Computer Interaction modules in 2020-2021 as part of my Integrated Ph.D. program. Currently, I am focused on designing support for adult learners in informal online programming. I explore challenges and opportunities to enhance learners’ autonomy, motivation, and self-regulation.
