For more than 500 years, the Mousel brewery has represented the beating heart of the Rives de Clausen and remains the witness of a landscape in perpetual motion. This building is steeped in brewing history. Generations of brewers have succeeded each other, bequeathing their heritage in turn. It is in this context that the old machine room of the Mousel brewery makes way for the new “Brauerei” brewery which reasserts with conviction its belonging to the contemporary world.
The new restaurant imposes itself with all these codes borrowed from the legendary Oktoberfest, a Munich popular festival: beer that flows afloat, Bavarian culinary specialties (roasted chickens as desired, tasty sausages, giant pretzels …) and especially a party atmosphere like no other!
More than a brewery, the place also serves as a museum to the glory of the brewing profession! Brauerei makes you discover its brewing rooms, its copper boilers and allows you, through large bay windows, to follow the entire beer making process. The steam engines stand proudly in the middle of the restaurant and let you live their story for a memorable social event.

Take the opportunity to rest and relax as you cruise along the river, past the ships and barges and the wine-producing villages on both banks of the Moselle, in the heart of Europe. The cruise’s diner gala offers you a fascinating experience as you head towards Sierck-les-Bains (F). You will be able to observe at close quarters the operation of the locks in Schengen/Apach and to marvel at the way the ship conquers the height differences as it travels through the locks and weirs of the Moselle. Along the river, you will pass other sights, such as historic castles and ruins, the beautiful wine-producing villages of the Moselle region, and stunning views of the vineyards.
