Welcome to the website of the ASE 2020 conference. The 35th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering.
The ASE 2020 conference is the premier research forum for Automated Software Engineering. Each year, it brings together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to discuss foundations, techniques, and tools for automating the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of large software systems.
Dear ASE Community members
Due to continuing great uncertainty about gatherings in person in Melbourne, border closures, limited flights, and quarantine regulations both in Australia and returning to home countries, the Steering and Organising Committees of ASE 2020 have had to make the decision to run the conference fully virtual in September 2020.
We will be using the same conference dates and aim to organise not only presentation and Q&A opportunities run on-line, but also various networking events for the community related to papers and themes.
We are of course very disappointed we will not be able to welcome and host you in Melbourne this year despite all our best efforts and intentions.
But we will do our very best to provide you with a virtual ASE 2020 experience not only to disseminate your important new research works but facilitate interaction and networking as best we are able in the circumstances.
Please all stay safe and well in these very challenging times.
John Grundy General Chair, ASE 2020
