Welcome to the 41st edition of the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Automated Software Engineering (ASE 2026). The ASE conference series is the premier research forum focused on automated software engineering. Each year, ASE brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss foundations, techniques, and tools for automated analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of large software systems.

ASE 2026 will take place from October 12 to October 16, 2026, at the Holiday Inn Munich – City Centre hotel, in Munich, Germany. The main conference will be held on the three days from October 13 to October 15. It features three keynotes, as well as paper and poster presentations from the research, tools and datasets, industry showcase, new ideas and emerging results, and journal-first tracks. The first and the last day of the conference are allocated to workshops, doctoral and new-faculty symposia, and the student research competition.

All 15 proceedings of ASE 2026 events were published on October 7 (conference) or 8 (workshops) and are publicly available in the ACM Digital Library (open access).
