Bio:

Manoli Albert is currently an Associate Professor and a researcher at the Valencian Institute for Research in Artificial Intelligence (VRAIN). She began her research career in 2000 and her teaching career in 2001 in the Department of Computer Systems and Computing. Her areas of expertise include Conceptual Modeling, Web Engineering, Software Patterns, Web Services and Architectures, Model-Driven Development, Adaptive Systems, Method Engineering, and Human-Computer Interaction.

She has participated in 26 competitive research projects (European, national, and regional) and 8 research contracts/agreements. She has been the Principal Investigator in two competitive R&D projects funded by the Valencian Government and one funded by the Spanish Goverment. She has over 40 scientific publications in international journals, conferences, national congresses, and book chapters. She has two recognized research periods (sexenios).
