Dr. Ronnie de Souza Santos is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Software Engineering - University of Calgary. He obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil) in 2019 (ECA: University of Toronto 2022). He also holds a M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and a B.Sc. in Information Systems. With more than 500 academic citations from publications in leading software engineering journals and international conferences, his research interests include software development process, software project management, software quality, software fairness, and EDI in software engineering. In addition to his academic background, Dr. de Souza Santos is an experienced software practitioner who worked with software testing and agile development for over eight years in leading software companies.
