Monalessa Perini Barcellos received her Ph.D. degree in Systems and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is an associate professor at the Computer Science Department of the Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil, where she is a senior member of the Ontology and Conceptual Modeling Research Group (NEMO) and co-cordinator of the Software Engineering Practices Laboratory (LabES). Her main research interests include Software Engineering, Ontology Engineering and Ontologies applied to Software Engineering. Topics on which she has worked in last years include, among others: Software Process, Software Quality, Software Measurement, Software Project Management, Agile Development, Continuous Software Engineering, Ontologies applied to Software Engineering, Ontologies applied to Human-Computer Interaction, Semantic Interoperability and Ontology Engineering.
