Eduardo Figueiredo is a associate professor and head of the Software Engineering Laboratory (LabSoft) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) since 2010. He received his PhD degree in Software Engineering from Lancaster University (UK) in 2009. Eduardo was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 2017 and a visiting researcher at University of Ottawa in 2025. His research interests include software modularity and reuse, empirical software engineering, and artificial intelligence for software engineering.
