Welcome Reception: Philippopolis Art Center

The ICT4S 2022 Welcome Reception will take place at Restaurant Museum Gallery Garden “Philippopolis”, which is a classical house from the Revival period of 1865. It is located at the entrance of the Old Town and holds the typical atmosphere of the picturesque Old Town of Plovdiv. The authentic cobbled steep streets, unique architecture, quiet courtyards and breathtaking views are the essence of this rare and ancient place.
On the first floor of Philippopolis, guests may enjoy a walk around the gallery exhibiting the unique work of contemporary artists. The second floor is a gallery presenting the works of old painters and it is located in the museum part of the house, where there will be a cocktail party. You will be able to sit both in the museum, on tables designed in sync with the atmosphere of the house, and in the garden, which overlooks part of the Old Town and Kapana. In the small central district, Kapana, which has become one of the emblems of Plovdiv, with the small colourful cobbled streets, visitors can indulge in the atmosphere of Plovdiv while enjoying a tasty meal or refreshing drink.
