Transportation
There are one major airport and one major railway station in Chongqing that you may choose for entry into the city: Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and Chongqing North Railway Station. Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport operate international and domestic flights, providing convenient transportation options for foreign participants.
Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (CKG)
It is one of the three major aviation hubs in Southwest China, with 120 airports accessible to cities, of which 83 are domestic; 37 international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. 1) Route 1. Taxi
Chongqing Taxi Guide
- Travel Time: about 40 minutes.
- Price: 60~90 RMB (about 10 USD). The travel time and price may vary depending on the traffic situation.
- If it’s hard to communicate with the driver, here is a TIP: Most taxi drivers don’t speak English well. Please show the driver the following message.
English: Please take me to Ronghui Grand Hotel in Shapingba district. You can use navigation to find the location.

2) Route 2. Subway
Chongqing has 12 rail transit lines, and the rail network covers all areas of Chongqing. It is recommended that you take Line 10 from the airport to Liyuchi, then transfer to Line 9 and get off at Tianlilu. After exiting the station, you can choose to walk (30 mins) or take a bus (17mins) to Ronghui International Hotel. The whole journey takes about 2 hours.
After exiting the Tianlilu Station, it takes about 7 minutes to get to the hotel by taxi.
