When attending the ICSA 2025 conference in Denmark (DK), it is essential to submit your business visa application well in advance before your intended entry into the Schengen area if you are a citizen of a country with a visa requirement to avoid processing delays. It is possible to apply up to 6 months before travel.
Invitation Letter
Registered attendees could receive an invitation letter by sending personal details (full name, affiliation, country, registration number, accepted paper number if any) icsaconf@gmail.com. The planning should be well ahead of time as the invitation letter should be approved by the head of the MMMI department at SDU.
Application Process
1. The applicants should also contact the International Staff Office (ISO) at SDU at iso@sdu.dk in order to initiate the visa application process. The visa application needs to be submitted at least 2 months prior to the conference date if the applicant wants to ensure he/she can get the visa in time for departure. ISO will guide the applicant through the application process.
2. Use the online ApplyVisa platform for applications and refer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark website for detailed guidelines and a list of visa requirements. The Visa Application form is an individual form, which is the applicant’s own responsibility to pay for and submit. Here, you can also find an overview of current visa processing times in the country you are applying from.
Important Note: While SDU supports the process, collecting correct information and following the VISA application is the responsibility of the participant.
