ASEE&T Invited Talk: The practice experiences of sustainable competency oriented agile education on software and service engineering in HIT
The new generation of information technology promotes the traditional manufacturing and service industries continue to transform and upgrade. The modern service industries such as Service-oriented Manufacturing, Information Technology Services, Online to Offline (O2O) Services and even Meta-verse Services have emerged. At present, the service industry, especially the modern service industry, is gradually becoming a new engine and driving force for the development of the global economy. How to cultivate sustainable and competitive talents that meet the needs of future technology and industry cross-border integration development has become a new challenge faced by universities. In recent years, Harbin Institute of Technology has adopted the "π model" plan for the development of modern service industry talents, and has carried out the talent cultivation of new engineering major in service science and engineering. This paper will elaborate on the practical experience of this major from multiple aspects such as training objectives, training plans, teaching models, teaching staff, school enterprise cooperation, international cooperation, integration of general and specialized education, and integration of colleges and academies. The aim is to provide reference for the development of modern service industry talent cultivation and related professional construction that meets the cross disciplinary integration.
