ASEE&TCSEE&T 2024
The Academy for Software Engineering Education & Training (ASEE&T) was created to help those engaged in teaching software engineering as well as those doing curriculum design. This year we will have several distinguished speakers, with the workshop loosely organized as follows.
First we will elicit the challenges that attendees in teaching software engineering education OR in getting new ideas introduced into software engineering curricula. Once we have a good understanding of the challenges, we will hear from the four speakers who will be talking about current topics in software engineering education, their experiences in curriculum design, or strategies in software engineering education. Their bio sketches and abstracts for their talks can be found in the tabs above.
At this point, the real work will start when we talk about how to address the challenges that were brought up with the group in the beginning. The participants, in a workshop setting, will develop and present strategies that will help them to address their challenges going forward.
