Between saying “Yes! I was accepted for a PhD” and “Finally done! Passed my Viva” most (all?) PhD students go through a sequence of ups and downs, which shape them as researchers. Having just finished my PhD, and with all the good memories and traumas still fresh in my mind, I want to share my experience in dealing with paper rejections, topic changes, internships, and some other important lessons I learned during my PhD.
