The objective of this short paper is to summarize the team’s experience in the area of software-testing education obtained through the development of an extensive internal training program for entry-level software testing specialists. The curriculum description is outlined in the context of most recent trends in the professional domain of software testing as well as the demand for new skills caused by the industry shift. We discuss the educational approach, course design, instruction tools and techniques along with the challenges and lessons learned in the setting of an international, multicultural, and geographically-distributed classroom.
