Haneen Hijazi is a lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering, Zarqa, Jordan. She received a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Hashemite University, Jordan in 2006, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Al-Balqaá Applied University, Jordan in 2012. In 2006, she joined the Department of Software Engineering at Hashemite University as a Computer Lab Supervisor. Since 2015, she has been a lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology, The Hashemite University. Additionally, she served as Assistant Dean of the faculty (2021-2023). Her current research interests include Software Engineering, emphasizing project management, risk management, quality assurance, eLearning, NLP, neural networks, and data science. She has published several research articles in these fields in reputable journals and conferences. Haneen was enrolled in several Tempus and Erasmus+ projects in which Hashemite University was a partner.
