Dave is passionate about innovation, co-collaboration, and the skills and competencies needed to assist organisations to scale. He is a senior business leader who was the country manager in Ireland for a UK and USA multinational before completing a management buyout from the multinational. Subsequently joined a SaaS startup before assisting another multinational to setup in Ireland.
Since 2010 he has created and managed several technology based clusters and currently oversees the Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet focusing on the provision of lifelong learning skills and competencies for industry.
He is the current Chair of Blockchain Ireland and a committee member on both the TC307 Blockchain and TC45 Innovation Management Systems Technical Standards Committees. He is a member of TC428 contributing to the development of the European Competency Framework for ICT Professionals (eCF).
He is the Managing Director of Digital Technology Skills Limited (DTSL). DTSL are involved in several Erasmus, Erasmus+ and Eureka projects and he is one of two Irish representative on Cost Action C19135 Cerciras - Connecting Education and Research Communities for an Innovative Resource Aware Society.
