Name:Jessica Van Brummelen
Bio:

Jessica Van Brummelen is an MIT PhD student at the intersection of conversational AI, human-computer interaction, and educational technology. She is currently developing voice-first tools, including a natural language, conversational programming interface, such that nearly anyone will be able to code and develop their own AI applications. She envisions programming being as easy as saying, “make my robot dance while playing my favorite song”. Jessica is bringing this technology to K-12 classrooms, where students develop their own agents and learn about AI. She believes that given the right tools, knowledge and skills, anyone can create significant positive change in their communities.
