Open-Air ActivitiesICT4S 2023
During the conference, we will propose Yoga and Jogging activities. All activities will be free of charge and led by a guide.
We will organize two morning jogging sessions June 7th and 9th, 2023, 7am-8am) starting from Place Saint Michel, near the subway station Saint-Anne. Rennes has several nice jogging spots, starting from the city center, for instance:
- To the north, along the Ille-et-Rance canal
- To the East, along the Vilaine river
More information about the sessions:
- Time is limited to one hour
- The routes will be between 5km and 10km long, depending on the participants
- They include different surfaces, mostly asphalt, paved and gravel
- The average temperature in June is beween 12 and 22°C.
The yoga session will be organized on Wednesday (June 8th, 2023, 6pm-7pm) by Birgit Penzenstadler. Birgit is a certified yoga teacher (500-RYT) and has been teaching around the world since 2015. She will help you stretch and open up your body after a long conference day, so you are refreshed and re-energized for the evening. No prior knowledge required, open to all levels, as Birgit will offer adaptations depending on what your body needs.
Please bring a mat if you have one with you, otherwise a towel will suffice. We hope to provide some mats but this has not yet been confirmed. You can contact Birgit if you have any questions. If you cannot wait, you may get started here.
The sessions will be held in Le Diapason building.
Each participant in an open-air activity will have to sign and to provide a health disclaimer to the conference organizers. The document will be online on this page later.
