In this keynote we will discuss the value and impact of doing a PhD, I will provide useful and actionable tips on doing (and completing!) a PhD, will give tips on (scientific) writing and presenting (scientific) work. I will report about my experiences and those of others I have collected over the years, which would really have helped me to have early on when doing a PhD and would have made my life as a PhD student at least a bit easier.
