Welcome to the website of ESEIW 2026, the Empirical Software Engineering International Week 2026 and is organised by the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
The week features an exciting program including six events:
- Monday and Tuesday: Annual ISERN Meeting (ISERN members only or by invitation)
- Wednesday: IDoESE (Doctoral Symposium), IASESE (Tutorials), MARPUA (Reproducibility Hackathon), and our Industry Day
- Thursday and Friday: ESEM 2026, the 20th International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement
Details on each of the events and the respective tracks can be taking from the respective track websites. The programme section will include then further details.

Beware scam attempts by Global Travel Team
Dear conference participants,
It has been brought to our attention that known scammers that pretend to be part of the conference organisation are approaching now also ESEIW participants. The emails are sent from a “Global Travel Team” (or similar names with emails like “operations [at] gtravelmanagement.com”), inquiring information on travel dates and then taking it further.
