Guttorm Sindre (b.1964) is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Informatics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. He was also the leader of the Excited Centre of Excellent IT Education from 2016-2021, and is currently vice leader in the same centre. He has had several research interests during his career, including information systems modelling, software engineering and security requirements. Currently his research interests are mostly focussed on computing education research, especially the teaching and assessment of programming and software engineering.
