Nuno Pombo is an Assistant Professor with the University of Beira Interior (UBI), Covilhã, Portugal. His current research interests include information systems (with a special focus on clinical decision support systems), data fusion, artificial intelligence, software, and software engineering. He is Coordinator with the Assisted Living Computing and Telecommunications Laboratory (ALLab), UBI. He is a member with the BSAFE Laboratory and the Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), UBI. He is also IEEE Senior Member.
