Call for Papers

We are thrilled to announce the Journal-First Track as part of the 29th International Conference on Evaluation and Assessment in Software Engineering (EASE 2025).

This track offers the authors of the empirical-oriented papers published in high-quality software engineering journals, TSE, TOSEM, EMEJ, JSS, and IST, an opportunity to present their work to the vibrant EASE community and engage in thought-provoking discussions during the conference to be held between June 17-20, 2025 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Journal-First Track welcomes papers with strong empirical angle and that align with the conference’s scope and focus areas, including but not limited to:

  • Empirical Studies in Software Engineering: Methods, case studies, and lessons learned.
  • Software Development Processes: Agile, DevOps, and lean development practices.
  • Software Quality Assurance: Testing, verification, validation, and quality improvement.
  • Software Metrics and Analytics: Measurement techniques and data-driven insights.
  • Human Aspects in Software Engineering: Team dynamics, developer productivity, and collaboration.
  • Emerging Technologies: AI, blockchain, IoT, and their implications for software engineering.
  • Sustainability and Ethics: Green software engineering, ethical challenges, and inclusivity.
  • Software Maintenance and Evolution: Refactoring, technical debt, and legacy system management.
