RE2021 does not charge registration fees on a per paper basis, but a Full Author registration is valid for up to three papers (please see details above).
Our aim is to keep registration fees low to attract a broad range of participants interested in Requirements Engineering.
Scenario #1: An author has a full paper, an RE@Next paper, and two workshop papers. They register at the FULL CONFERENCE AUTHOR rate. This covers three of their papers. They register for an additional WORKSHOP event to cover the final paper.
Scenario #2: An author has the same four papers. However, one co-author has an additional paper. Each author registers for the FULL CONFERENCE AUTHOR rate.
We understand that this is a bit complicated; however, we are trying to keep costs down whilst covering our costs. One of the main costs is the per-paper publication fees. For the sake of transparency, we provide a rough cost breakdown.
For example, (numbers and percentages are estimates)
- Attendee Registration: Virtualization Tools: 60% / Other (Registration, Service Fees, etc.) : 40%
- Author Registration: Virtualization Tools: 40% / Other (Registration, Service Fees, etc.): 20% / Publication Costs: 40%
