The Schengen states have jointly agreed upon which countries’ citizens are required to present a visa. Traveling to Oulu by air: Oulu airport is located 15 km from the city center. There are frequent daily direct flights operated by Finnair between Helsinki and Oulu
Traveling to Oulu by train: You can also choose a train connection from Helsinki to Oulu. The travel time is approximately 6 hours depending on the train: VR - Finnish railways
Public transport in Oulu: Bus from the airport to the Oulu city center takes 20 minutes.You can purchase single tickets from the bus using cash (exact change), contactless payment cards or through the Oulu public transport ticket app . Bus number 8 or 9 (operated by Oulun Joukkoliikenne) runs between the airport (Oulun lentoasema) and city center (Keskusta). See the airport travel information.
