EASE 2023
Tue 13 - Fri 16 June 2023 Oulu, Finland

As a top software engineering conference, EASE receives many excellent submissions. However, not all submissions can be accepted into the Research Track as full papers, even though there is high value in presenting and discussing them during the conference. To be as inclusive as possible while maintaining the EASE Research (Full Papers) track’s top quality, this year, we created the EASIER track, which stands for EASE Invited Reports.

EASIER is an invitation-only track with a program fully embedded in the main conference. Submissions to Research Track, which have undergone a rigorous peer-review process and are deemed not ready for the Research Track but has merit and may be interesting to attendees, are accepted as EASIER track papers if the authors have consented to transfer their papers to other conference tracks at submission time. EASIER track papers will be published in the same proceedings as the main conference as workshop papers with a page limit of 10 pages (same as Research Track).

Authors invited to EASIER can alternatively opt for their papers to be considered for other EASE Tracks (Industry, Vision and Emerging Results, Short Papers, and Posters) by contacting us via ease2023@easychair.org before 10 March 2023, the deadline for submissions to other tracks. In that case, however, papers need to be re-evaluated by the corresponding track chairs based on existing reviews. Upon their confirmation of eligibility, papers must be reformatted to fit the page limits of the corresponding track.
