Call for Tutorials
In addition to presentations, we encourage longer sessions to promote interaction. In particular, we invite proposals for tutorials that are aligned with the conference topics. The tutorials can be half-day or full-day and will take place on Friday, June 16, 2022.
Tutorial organizers should plan their tutorial, including timing, intended audience, and interactive elements, as well as the tutorial content.
Important dates:
Tutorial Submission deadline:Notification (Tutorials): 14 April 2023
Submission process
Tutorial proposals must be submitted via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ease2023) in PDF format following the paper format of the main conference and no longer than the maximum page number of the main conference papers.
The tutorial proposals must include: title; short bios of the organizers; contact information of the organizers; motivation and objectives; list of topics and/or agenda; the format of the tutorial; equipment and services needed; and the target audience.
The proposals will be evaluated by the Tutorial Chairs considering the relevance to the conference, the importance of the tutorial topics, the quality of the plan, and the experience of the organizers.
Tutorial participants and organizers must register for the tutorial, and register for the tutorial separately from the EASE main conference. The organization may cancel or suggest merges for tutorials without sufficient registrations.
Accepted tutorials have the option of submitting a two-page tutorial summary for the proceedings.
Participation
EASE 2022 is hoping and planning for a fully in-person event in Oulu. However, we also recognize the continued difficulties related to COVID-19 and will try to be flexible if necessary. If you have circumstances that may prevent you from participating in person, please discuss with the Tutorial Chairs.
