Below you find all ticket prices and information and what is included in each ticket. The early bird deadline expires on 3 May 2026, 23:59h.

Please note that the event booking system automatically adds insurance to every ticket purchase. You can deselect this option when buying your ticket.

Student registration fees apply to participants that are bachelor, master, or PhD students. All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and incl. VAT.


Presenting authors

Each accepted submission must be presented in person by a co-author at the conference. The following registration deadlines for authors/contributors apply:

  • Research paper track: Friday, 1 May 2026
  • Journal first track: Friday, 1 May 2026
  • Doctoral symposium: Friday, 1 May 2026
  • Workshop organizers: Friday, 1 May 2026
  • Demonstration and posters: Friday, 15 May 2026

Presenting paper authors who are attending in person will present between Tuesday and Thursday.
Presenting paper authors who are attending remotely must at least attend on Wednesday and purchase a virtual ticket. The detailed presentation schedule will be published closer to the conference.

Presenting poster authors must attend in person at least on Wednesday to present their poster. Accepted participants of the doctoral symposium must attend at least on Friday in person or remotely. Participants of the workshops must at least attend on Friday (all workshops are on-site, two workshops also allow remote participation, see workshop schedule). During registration you can indicate which workshops you will attend.

The on-site ticket includes access to the conference on all days, coffee breaks and lunch on each day, the reception on Monday and the conference dinner on Wednesday. The full week virtual ticket includes remote access to all hybrid and streaming sessions and one of the hybrid workshops or the doctoral symposium on Friday. Refer to the preliminary program for more details.


Day tickets

All day tickets are on-site tickets except for the «Friday virtual ticket» which allows remote participation in one of the two hybrid workshops or the doctoral symposium on Friday.

Each day ticket (except for the virtual ticket) includes access to the conference, coffee breaks and lunch on each day. The Monday ticket also includes the reception, and the Wednesday ticket also includes the conference dinner. Refer to the preliminary program for more details.

  • Additional ticket for the reception on Monday (e.g. for partner): 45 CHF
  • Additional ticket for the conference dinner on Wednesday (e.g. for partner): 120 CHF
  • Ticket for the Bern city walk on Thursday morning (see social program): 17 CHF

Images

By attending this event, whether as a participant or otherwise (e.g. as a supporter), you acknowledge that images may be captured by the organiser during the event using film photography, digital photography, video or other medium. These recordings remain with the organiser and may be used to promote the organisation and its work, or other future events. These images may also be provided to the media for publication in local or national newspapers or magazines. If you do not wish to be recognisable in these recordings, please contact melanie.senn@bfh.ch.


List of attendees

To facilitate networking at the conference, we will provide a list of participants and their affiliations to attendees, excluding contact details, but this list will not be made public. If you prefer not to be included, please email melanie.senn@bfh.ch.
