Preliminary Program

The ICT4S provides a platform for trans- and interdisciplinary discussion and integrates perspectives from research, politics, administration, NGOs and civil society. The program reflects this ambition. Below you can find the preliminary program that will be updated once all speakers, papers, posters and workshops have been confirmed.

Industry & Policy Leaders Day
On Monday, we will organize an Industry & Policy Leaders day that combines topical keynotes, panels and breakout sessions that intend to provide a forum for exchange across research, industry, politics, administration and civil society.

Keynotes
From Tuesday to Thursday, several keynote presentations will be delivered by leading experts in ICT for Sustainability, representing both research and practice.

Paper, poster and demo presentations
A core of ICT4S is the exchange of latest research insights. Authors of all accepted contributions will present and engage in discussions about their findings with conference participants. Continuing tradition, ICT4S will use the ConverStation format for paper presentations, fostering close interaction and deep scientific discussion.

Workshops
On Friday, several workshop will take place in parallel. Please refer to the call for workshops if you want to organize a workshop.

Doctoral Symposiums
On Friday, a doctoral symposium will be held to foster exchange of research insights and networking among doctoral students. Please refer to the call for contributions if you want to contribute and participate.

ICT4S Zine
The ICT4S Zine provides a forum for artistic, creative and unconventional ideas and contributions that will jointly form a magazine. Please refer to the call for the ICT4S Zine if you want to contribute.

Social Activities
ICT4S will feature a range of social activities designed to help participants connect and enjoy their time together. These include receptions, conference dinners, and even group swims in the nearby crystal-clear Aare River.

Best Paper Awards
We also want to celebrate outstanding contributions and will award them during the conference dinner.
