End-to-End Testing in Web Environments: Addressing Practical Challenges
This program is tentative and subject to change.
Hi, I am Sergio Di Meglio, PhD student at the University of Naples Federico II, Department of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies. My main fields of interest are in software engineering, with a special focus on software testing. My research work focuses on System Testing techniques, such as End-to-End Testing and Performance Testing of critical systems, with a special focus on web systems.
In the business environment, these techniques are often ignored due to the cost and time required for development. During my PhD, my goal is to develop new techniques for automatic test generation, and innovative methods for writing more robust and efficient tests. My research aims to fill this gap by offering practical solutions that can be adopted by companies to improve the quality of their critical software systems.
