Efraín R. Fonseca C. received the Ph.D. degree in 2014. He has ten years of IT industry experience as a consultant. He is full Professor at Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE of Ecuador. Among his research interests is the research process in empirical software engineering, research methods in empirical software engineering, object-oriented analysis, design and development of ontological representations in software engineering, information security, and emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT).
