Dr. Thomas Fehlmann is an expert in software metrics and testing, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for lean and agile software development, and a promoter of customer-centric product design and testing. For most of his professional life, he has worked as a quality manager for software companies. As such, he has led several companies to global market leadership using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) and Six Sigma for software. Since 1999, he has led the Euro Project Office and is internationally recognized as a QFD expert and an expert in software and test metrics. Since 2016, Thomas is an academic member of the Athens Institute for Education and Research ATINER. Thomas is a member of the ASQF Secure Software Engineering working group and has been the head of the ASQF Switzerland technical group since 2022. Thomas frequently speaks at conferences on topics such as Six Sigma, QFD, software quality, software testing, product management, software engineering, and software metrics.
