Qingwei Lin is a Partner Researcher and Research Manager at the DKI (Data, Knowledge, Intelligence) research area. He is leading a team of researchers working on data-driven technologies for cloud intelligence / AIOps, with innovations in machine learning and AI algorithms. In cloud intelligence / AIOps area, Qingwei has over 100 publications in the conferences of ICSE, FSE, ASE, OSDI, NSDI, USENIX ATC, AAAI, ICML, NeurIPS, etc. The research technologies have been transferred into multiple Microsoft products, such as Microsoft Azure, Office, Windows, Bing, etc., and made substantial improvements. Qingwei hosted Microsoft company-wide “Cloud Service Intelligence Summit” as the Chair for 5 consecutive years. He joined Microsoft Research in 2006.
