Bio:

Dr. Faizad Ullah is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Forman Christian College (A Chartered University), Lahore. He completed his PhD in Computer Science at LUMS, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs). Dr. Ullah holds an MS in Computer Science from GIKI (graduated with high distinction) and a BS in Computer Science from KUST as a gold medalist. His research focuses on NLP for low-resource languages, with publications in prestigious venues including EMNLP, LREC, COLING, ICONIP, EACL, ACM Transactions on Asian and Low-Resource Language Information Processing, and Nature Portfolio (Scientific Reports). He received the “Stoori-Da-Pakhtunkhwa” (Stars of KPK) award from the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and secured 1st position in FSc from Kohat Board, KPK.
