The poster session is an excellent opportunity for researchers to present and discuss their recent or ongoing work with a broad audience. All participants of ECOOP and ISSTA and their co-located events and workshops are strongly encouraged to participate in the poster session, as this will allow them to present themselves and their work to the community and receive feedback in an interactive setting.

Posters can be either:

  • Independent posters that will be reviewed by the Poster Committee for acceptance, or
  • Associated posters showcase work to be presented at ECOOP, iSSTA, their co-located events and workshops, or Doctoral Symposium. The Posters Committee will not review those submissions, as they illustrate work that has been reviewed by other committees already.

Posters should be prepared as a single portrait or landscape page. Attendees will be able to zoom into the poster, so that the posters may contain detailed illustrations. Posters will be presented in two time-zone friendly slots to enable participants across the world to attend and present. Poster presenters will be available for video chatting during the poster presentation.

Submission

Submission site: https://issta21posters.hotcrp.com/

Both independent and associated posters must register a submission before the poster submission deadline. However, the required information differs:

  • Associated posters: Provide the names of the authors, the title of the contribution, and the venue where the original work is presented. Associated posters are automatically accepted.
  • Independent posters: Provide the names of the authors, the title of the poster, and either a 2-page abstract or the poster itself. Independent posters will be evaluated both on their contributions and on how effectively they communicate those contributions.

Poster presenters are required to attend the scheduled online poster session and be available for video chatting with the attendees. The exact details will follow.
