Pre-conference Blog post by Sangeeth KochantharaSun 15 Jul 2018

My name is Sangeeth Kochanthara. I am a second year PhD scholar in computer science at TU Eindhoven, The Netherlands. My broader research interests are in program analysis and runtime monitoring. Particularly, I work on the synthesis of runtime safety monitors for autonomous driving vehicles.

ISSTA, being a premier conference in testing and software analysis, is one of the venues I look forward to submit my work in future. I am going to attend ISSTA for the first time and am very excited.

The co-located workshops: VORTEX and TAV-CPS/IoT are closely related to my PhD problem. Also, the summer school provides an excellent opportunity to learn and get mentoring from experts.

I am highly grateful to ACM SIGSOFT for providing CAPS funding, which enables me to attend the main conference, summer school and other co-located events. Many thanks to the organizers of the conference for selecting me as a student volunteer which covers my registration cost.

I look forward to meeting with experts, learn, interact, have fun, and in turn serve the community.
