Generative AI tools will significantly influence the way we develop software. That’s why we’re there is a full day workshop on Monday to the topic “AI and Agile Software Development: From Frustration to Success”. Later, as the main conference kicks off, Birgitta Böckeler will share her insights on integrating AI into agile development practices.
Of course there is more on Monday, you can join workshop about agile architecture and delivery (full day) and several half day workshops about collaboration, leadership, innovation and strategy.
But AI isn’t the only force reshaping software development. While many teams have returned to the office post-pandemic, hybrid development is here to stay. In addition to a half-day workshop on Monday, Darja Šmite, a leading researcher in this space, will deliver a keynote on the evolving dynamics of distributed and hybrid teams Wednesday morning.
After about half of the conference and having listened to engaging sessions, insightful experience reports, and inspiring ideas across various Industry & Practice sessions, it’s your time to shine. Before we head into the conference dinner we’ll open the floor for an interactive open space session — a chance for you to bring your questions, ideas, or challenges to the table. Come prepared, we will ask for your topic already by Tuesday.
Finally, on the last day, we turn our focus to the foundations: strong technical skills and how to cultivate them. Emily Bache will lead a keynote on technical coaching, highlighting its role in delivering sustainable, high-value software. (And if you’re eager to dive deeper, don’t miss her workshop on Friday morning .) This topic ties in perfectly with more sessions from all our tracks, including education & training and leads us to our closing keynote by Joshua Kerievsky— a reminder of agile’s original mission: managing risks.
