Sai Anirudh Karre is a researcher and professional in the field of Software Engineering and Virtual Reality. He earned his Ph.D. in 2024 under Prof. Y. Raghu Reddy at the Software Engineering Research Center, IIIT Hyderabad. He completed his Master of Science by Research in Software Quality Engineering from IIIT Hyderabad in 2016 and his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from JNTU Hyderabad in 2011.
He has a strong Data Engineering background and currently working as a Data Product Manager at Phenom Inc. In the past, he worked in Product, Development and Customer Service at Accurate Background & SumTotal Systems Inc. His research interests and publications focus on Software Engineering, Virtual Reality and HCI.
Sai has a solid skill set in developing Software Systems and Enterprise Product Design. He has substantial experience developing backend layers (Data Integration/ETL/Replication/Sharding/NoSQL DB), middleware (transaction processing/messaging), and API development (REST/ODATA/SOAP/Microservices). He was involved in many software projects for academia and budding startup communities since 2013. Besides research and work, he dedicates his time to cooking, Oil on Canvas, Plants and his family!
