Name:Pietro Frigo
Bio:

I’m a PhD student in the VUSec group since December 2017 working under the supervision of Kaveh Razavi. My current research focuses on software-based microarchitectural attacks. I’m interested in analyzing the intrinsic threats introduced by architectural design flaws.

My initial work has focused on an end-to-end browser exploit that solely relies on μ-arch attacks. The work has been recognised as CVE-2018-10229.

Prior to this I received a MSc in Computer Science with specialization in Cyber Security from TU Delft and a BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
