Graziela Simone Tonin is the Associate Dean of Computer Engineering and a professor at Insper. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (2018), with a research internship at UMBC (USA), a master’s degree from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2011), and a bachelor’s degree from URI (2008). She received the IBM Fellowship Award (2012) and completed a Venture Finance program at the University of Oxford. She leads gender-related research at the Gender Studies Center within Insper’s Center for Public Policy and coordinates the São Paulo School of Advanced Science in Sustainability and Complex Systems. Graziela serves on scientific committees of conferences in Agile Methodologies, Technical Debt, and Software Engineering, and is a guest reviewer for international journals. She mentors startups in programs such as Inovativa Brasil and Inovativa de Impacto, and evaluates entrepreneurship initiatives, including the Centelh Brazilian program. She has been invited to speak and lead workshops in more than 8 countries. She will serve as Co-Chair of the next edition of the XP Conference :).
