ICSE 2024
Fri 12 - Sun 21 April 2024 Lisbon, Portugal

For an applied research area like software engineering, industrial relevance is an essential aim. However, it is unclear how to achieve industrial relevance and how we communicate and assess it. We propose two corresponding solutions: 1. a canvas to be used to improve relevance when planning and conducting research and 2. a reasoning framework to support the design, reporting, and assessment of research for industrial relevance.
