Navigating the Multi-Crisis: A Path for Agilists, Scientists and Organizations to become regenerative forces in society
This program is tentative and subject to change.
We are in the midst of an accelerating planetary multi-crisis, from environmental degradation to social and economic fragmentation, and our collective inability to correct course is alarming. Billions are being invested in agile, digital, environmental, and other change initiatives, yet the results are often poor, and many people are left feeling more stressed and disconnected than ever. Despite these setbacks, rare “islands of coherence” exist—organizations where transformation flourishes against the odds. These examples remind us that profound change is possible, but we need many more of these lighthouses of regeneration (exceeding sustainability) - if we are to secure a livable future for the next generations.
The agile community stands at a critical juncture. After a decade of misaligned implementations driven by traditional management thinking, agile is at risk of being marginalized or dismissed altogether. Yet, agilists are uniquely positioned to lead the way, combining digital and social high-tech to co-create sustainable, regenerative solutions. The workplace, with its far-reaching influence, offers the ideal environment for fostering human growth, leadership, and collective transformation on a massive scale.
Through the lens of Regenerative Enterprise Transformation, this talk will explore how organizations can evolve their cultures to thrive amidst increasing complexity. By integrating approaches such as integral sensemaking, awareness-based system change, and adaptive action, we can transform organizations through the people within them. Deep transformative approaches understand and deal with the impact of collective trauma on individuals, organizations and society. By addressing these unconscious, unresolved patterns, we can move from fragmentation to cohesion, allowing real, systemic change to happen.
I will also present a compelling case for why embarking on your own path of deep transformation is crucial, not only for creating positive change in your organization but for preparing yourself, your family, and your career for the disruptive times ahead. This personal evolution will empower you to become a true catalyst for change, guiding your organization and community toward a more regenerative future.
Attendees will gain insights into: - The connection between the global multi-crisis and us as individuals. - The concept of collective trauma and its influence on individuals, organizations, and systems. - A regenerative enterprise transformation approach that fosters deep, systemic change
